Just some thoughts...

Well, I am still in Regina. Things are going good here. Last night, a good friend of mine...Gale from Canmore, whom I worked with, called me. So it was great to talk to her, find out how work was going. Part of me wants to go back there. But another part of me doesn't want to go back to that particular place. Not that it's a bad place to work...but...it wasn't right for me, I guess is the way I will delicately phrase it. But I miss the mountains. I feel I was born for the mountains.

Plans fell thru with my sister Cori. She was going to be in Gravelbourg with her boyfriend, visiting his family, and we were going to drive up to Swift Current and visit our relatives for the day. But it didn't happen and I was really depressed. But I feel better now. Sad but better. At least it gives me something to look forward to when I get to see her. My sister Cori is the best. Sometimes to tease her I will call her Cornelia...but now my favorite nickname for her is Agabetha...yes, I spelled it correctly...AGABETHA...which is the name of my great grandma's sister...

Not much else new with me. Just did a bit of painting this evening for my friends Rich and Susan. Cooked a nice spaghetti dinner. Yesterday I cooked asparagas, potatoes and terayaki chicken breast. That was tasty! I really enjoy cooking.

All my thoughts for now,
Cameron

Back in Saskatchewan for a short while...

Hi Guys,
I am back in Saskatchewan for a short while, I believe. It is good to see a few of my friends, and there are a few, I have not seen yet, but plan to. It is good to rest, relax and sleep in...although, surprisingly, I have been quite busy. My friends, with who I am staying with, are in the finishing process of renovating their kitchen and bathroom, and so I will be helping them put things back, organizing and cleaning. So I will be busy, but at least I feel I am at home, here in good old Regina.
It was nice last weekend to be involved in the Regina LIVE-IN retreat weekend. That was so awesome! It was neat to meet so many people, that I met for the first time, as well as old friends, which is great to rekindle that friendship there.
Before I came here, I stayed in Edmonton for about 6 days, and had a wonderful time with Mom and my sister Cori, and other family members. We laughed, and talked, and cried and were merry. It was loads of fun. Cori will be dancing at this Austrian ball, in a few days, so we were running around the vast city of Edmonton, getting her a gown and shoes, and accessories. This dance will be in memory of the anniversary of Maria Von Trapp. Many important dignitaries will be there, including the premier of Alberta, I believe(not sure if that considers him important or not...just kidding! I met Ralph Klein once when I cleaned his suite-the Presidential-at the famed Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel). And on that night she is dancing, is also her 20th birthday...my baby sister is growing up! So that has got to be something special.
Mom is awesome and beautiful as well. We even got to play not one-but TWO games of scrabble...that was fun. We got to chat, and go for coffee. She even watched Karen Carpenter's Christmas specials with me on VHS, but she fell asleep...but that was ONLY because she was tired!! I will have you know!
Another neat thing, is Mom and me went to a Round Dance, where my cousin David Klaassen was involved with. He even sat in the circle and performed on the drum, so myself, Mom and Auntie Jewel joined in on the circle dance. We had fun. And of course Mom won $25.00 on a 50/50 draw. Figures. Some people have all the luck. Just kiddng. She deserved it! A fun, fun evening!

That's all for now!!
