What's new with me...hmmmm

Hi All,
Well, we are still in the midst of home renovations for my friends. It's hectic, busy, boring but also fun. By boring, there are times, like yesterday, today and tomorrow, where i have nothing to do because, the main floors are being refinished, sanded, polished and coated. We cannot move on them. I can't even get to the basement to do stuff down there. If we want to get to the kitchen, we have to go thru the front porch to go outside, walk around the side of the house, and then go thru the back entrance to the kitchen. So if I am hungry, I have to think long and hard about it, to decide if it is worth it to make the long trek for food. Hey, I feel like an Indian of the olden days, when they went looking for buffalo, or wild game!
The other night a friend and I moved furniture from the dining room and living room to the front porch. That went well. I was amazed we could fit everything in there like we did, but we did.
After the floor is done and we can walk on it, we will move the furniture back into those rooms, and tidy up in there a bit. Thankfully, the walls in both those rooms are done. Painted by Susan's angels...We won't mention their names(Jenn and Tania...oh yeah, and Garth M...ha ha ha!). It was a surprise to Susan and Rich, when they walked in from a trip from Saskatoon on Sunday night to find it all painted. They were exstatic!
But the other news, is I am heading back to Canmore in one month. I will be reprising my role as Housekeeping Supervisor at the Canmore Inn and Suites(soon to be renamed HOLIDAY INN and Suites). I think, having this time off has been much needed. I will head back and feel more rejuvenated, and plus, I enjoy Hotel work.
Other than that, not much else is new. Except I am still busy with my Genealogy on the PARENTEAU family. That is my biological name. So I have a webpage up and running. Here is the address...
