The LIVE-IN weekend

Hi All,
Well just got back from helping with LIVE IN weekend, which is a retreat. Was a blast. Of course I only got about 11 hours of sleep, but as the song goes, I WILL SURVIVE. And I did! Praise God!

The music was fantastic. And I must take credit for it. Well not the music part...that was done superbly by Denise Culham, Regina's SONGBIRD. I take credit for inviting her and encouraging her. So a round of applause for Denise! YAY! DENISE! Oh I am a bit envious. Denise gave a "private" singing performance to Pat Stevenson of THE SWEETEST NAME OF ALL. But I will try my best to forgive Miss Denise.

The food was quite good. But that's all I will say on that subject! The fellowship and unity was AWESOME! Our prayer warriors were lovely and so much fun was had in our Prayer Room/Chapel.

All in all, a great, wonderful, fun, zany, exhausting, exhillerating, enchanting, equisite, endearing, enhancing weekend was had....by all. I am looking forward to the LIVE IN weekend in November Long weekend...

Well am going to Manitoba to my reserve in about 10 days. To try and get my treaty documentation. I will be here for ABORIGIONAL DAY on the 21st of June. YAY! As for the rest of the summer, I had been hoping to go see Mom in late June before she left for a 7 week stay in Costa Rica...but might not happen. So by the time I go and see here, might be sometime in the fall. The last I saw her was Dec 5, 2005...which was 7 months ago...

And we will see where life takes me. Maybe Winnipeg to University. That's my dream city to live in to go to school so we shall see, if God opens the doors for me to do that.

Memories at LIVE IN. Lee playing MAKE ME A CHANNEL OF YOUR PEACE in a hard rock kind of song...(had me in stitches!), our fiasco with the overhead song transparencies, walking around the school singing and praying and annointing, hearing wonderful and emotional testimonies, everyone raving about MY buns(the buns I baked in the oven, I will have you know),me with my Chef hat and shirt and photo taken at my behest, and also, Ernie and me laughing while our GROUP photo was taken in Dining room...what a guy he is! and all the PUNS that we had in kitchen with Denise B, me, Michael Tallon..., and of course Denise Culham helping to pack the dishes on Sunday(btw, did you get your cheese and salad yet...cuz you left, and I saw it staring at me in fridge so....??)...anyhow...a fabulously faithful weekend.

Will rap later,
Cam

Well as my fave saying goes, "Denise, you just have to THROW it up to Jesus!"...during those moments lift your burdens, worries, fears, anxieties to him...Cast your burdens to the Lord. We can't really hold onto them and stress about it. That's what the enemy wants us to do...to stress and rethink/rehash it till it drives us crazy. It happened. Let it go...Throw it up to the Lord. And carry on! But as the saying goes, in our weakness HE is stronger! So I take comfort in the fact that even in my mistakes or imperfection He still loves me as I am,....sorry for the sermon(mini)...Yes, your heart could take another mishap of overheads. Because Jesus would have taken your anxieties away the first time...HAVE A GREAT GREAT GRRRREEEEAAAAAAAATTTTT day...
